he's not really raising you since you're not even in the hand yet. why would you want him to fold?

call and evaluate the turn. you've got position here. i'm pretty sure villain is just leading out here since he is guessing that the flop didn't hit you. Villain is probably putting you on AK,AJ,AQ, KQ etc KJ

i only beat AQ, AK and a bluff here. Villain could have pockets, AT.

I don't 3bet 77, you're only playing it for set value so smooth call. As played flop is a raise or fold depending on your read. Call seems really spewy to me, what are we accomplishing by being passive here?

he can and will have a lot more hands than that. its not like he's raising with AQ and AT, but not AJ/KQ and a bunch of other crap.

He's not calling 3bets with total garbage, very few players at micros do that. It's possible he's on 2 random broadways here and without reads we can't be sure. If we want to know, we gotta pop over his flop bet or else get out of the hand.

77 has no value here unless you know you can push him off the hand, if you think you can you raise, if you don't there's no reason to continue.

yeah, i kinda messed that up. i was thinking raised pot even though i was talking about 3b pot the whole time. 77 is in pretty bad shape.

I don't like the 3bet preflop.

As played, I prefer raising the flop and try to represent something big to push villain off his hand. Plus his 1/2 pot bet seems kinda weak. If he calls or pushes, I'm done with the hand.
