This fish is crazy -- currently playing 94/11 with a 3bet of 15 percent over 38 hands. Aggressive (raising) post-flop.

Poker Stars $0.02/$0.05 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players

SB: $6.27
BB: $5.31
UTG: $12.32
MP: $8.98
Hero (CO): $10.00
BTN: $9.50

Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is CO with J K
1 fold, MP calls $0.05, Hero raises to $0.25, 3 folds, MP calls $0.20

Flop: ($0.57) 7 9 A (2 players)
MP bets $0.05, Hero thinks of the right line...

What line to take here? In general, I'd just raise this up for collection of dead money and even for slight value. Against this aggressive bluffing fish, however, I began to hate a flop b/f and lean towards calling the idiot down with K high.

I elect to call and see if you improve on the turn/river.

Raising will probably result in a 3bet/shove by villian

The reason for betting vs a station would be?

i'm asking the question because i don't know. i'm here to learn from people who are better and more experienced than me. i've always treated this like a check; sometimes they call your c-bet and you have to give up, but those are the breaks. also i thought the read was that villain was a station pre flop but aggressive post flop. it seems like for a very cheap price we're giving villain a lot of information about our hand and thats what i'd really like to avoid.

maybe i'm not thinking about this the right way, but i'm ok with losing this pot if he decides to min bet/call oop with his j7 or whatever because usually that's going to be a mistake on his part. turns out its the right move for him this time but he had to play a guessing game and that's what i want. what i don't want is for his min bet to become a probe that lets him know whether i'm weak or not. if it does, then i'm stuck guessing because if i improve and he makes a real bet, how happy should i be?

he's showing you weakness, raise. If he does this and calls we should be able to pwn him near future

I think it's a good spot to call for information. There are two lines he may take on the turn. If he minbets again, you can call and call the river to see what he's doing this with. If he bets pot, he's probably bluffing and you can raise him off or call him down.

Even if he is bluffing he can bluff with the best hand. there is every possibility that the turn is a 2 and fish pots it and we raise and he calls the raise and river barrel with 32o.

Just don't try to bluff the fish. They play lvl0 game meaning they don't even play their own cards. Raise their minbets with second pair no kicker, but don't do it with air IMO.
He I'd just call and if we hit a pair we can bet it for value. And sometimes we are good at showdown if he keeps minbetting (more likely he has like 44, but good look trying to get him fold that)
