Hey! In this hand example I would like to think about 2-nd pairs in such kind of spots in general.

Flop:
In general 9 3 K board looks good for C-betting, but should we do it everytime with 2-nd pair here vs fish and vs reg? If called we have some outs vs Kx hands and still ahead vs FD in no is coming.

Turn:
Blank 2 doesn't change much. Probably check behind would be our first choice here, but I thought to bet another 1/2 bet to charge draws to pay more and may be "buy" another check on the river. But all those arguments sounds very doubtful as well as sizing, so that's why I am posting this hand as well.

River:
This is interesting one. 6 gives us two pairs as well as his lead for almost a pot, which is usually sign of strength in such spot from what I have seen so far.

BB has 48% VPIP / 18% PFR over 58 hands. Maybe it's a sample size effect but... let's assume our opponent is a loose passive rec.

On the flop I would just bet 1/3d with my range against this opponent: they called out of the BB, they have all sort of garbage they will auto-fold. Like, I don't know, Q5 diamonds. The fact we have a pair doesn't change much: we are happy to make them fold their equity, and if we get called we might be ahead (if they are drawing) or we can improve to trips/2-pair.

On the turn it's a little bit thin, I think our kicker maybe is not good enough. We want them to do a mistake when they call us, and for a 1/2 ~ 2/3 bet they do a mistake when they call with a worse 9, or a 3, which they don't have that much. If they have a flush draw + 1 overcard to our 9 for example their call is probably correct vs your hand and betting doesn't accomplish much. I think I would play it overbet or check, overbetting with a KQ or better and some bluffs and checking the rest

River I would snapcall.

I would consider our opponent as a "reg" in this context only if they're capable of check-raising the flop with bluffs: then you can't range bet small anymore, and you need to sometimes checkback.
