NL 50 AK in a 4-bet spot NL 50 AK in a 4-bet spot

BB ($52.30)
CO ($63.25)
Button ($51.05) (Hero)
SB ($54.42)

opponent 37/25 seems very agressive, mb maniac, after 35 hands

Preflop: Hero is Button with K, A
1 folds, Hero raises to 2.0, 1 folds, BB raises to 4.0, Hero raises to 16.0, BB calls $11.50,

Flop: 8, 2, 8 ( $32.25 )
BB checks, Hero bets $16.00, BB raises All-In $36.3, Hero raises All-In $35.05

I think this is standart 4-bet here against this type of opponents.

On the Flop I bet half of the pot to induce action from overcards.

So What about action on the flop, cbet here, or just give up.

I cant understand your call to the shove, even with these odds, maniacs often shove these flops with any pair.

We're getting like 4:1, he calls because he's often drawing to 6 outs, we definitely have the equity to call.

Sometimes I'd check behind a flop like this, take the free card. It's hard to see villain folding any pair on a dry board like this. That said, it does make the turn tricky he he shoves, as he may be bluffing with AQ (maybe) or AK, as not cbetting makes your hand a little transparent.

6 times 4 = 24, so roughly 24% EV.
He has KK often tho.

6 outs is approx. 24% equity (if they're live), meaning we need a little better than 3:1 or so to make a call. We are getting 4:1. Though maybe our equity is less when you count AA and KK, though they aren't a huge part of villain's range, both because there are only 6 combos total of them, and he flatted pre.

We have about 19% equity against 88+. 28% against 88+, AK, AQs. It's close, but I call.

I think he'd shove preflop with KK+ quite often. I think this is QQ-, sometimes AA.
