Villain was 23/15, but I only played 13 hands with him. Decided to peel the flop and on the turn I get my combo draw. Should I raise somewhere and why?

What range is everyone putting villian on? My uneducated guess would be {33-99, A6s/A6o}. In that case you would be a 33% underdog and you would be priced out on the flop which would make the flop call a bad one, unless you think villian will pay off when your straight hits. As played, does anyone like a turn 3bet/shove?

(Note: I'm a noob and I'm only offering my thoughts so that I can learn when you guys flame me)

At this level you should be raising donks from unknowns indiscriminately (and taking notes of course). Turn call is standard.

I'd raise the turn the Q is a good scare card and you just gained equity.

My first thought was to raise the turn because the Q is a good scare card, but because he bet so small, is it better to call on the turn with the draw we picked up? What do we do if he bets 80-100% of the pot on the turn?

You're actually double-gutted on the flop; you turn a triple combo.

The flop call is good -- you have hidden draws that are likely to be paid if he has a hand. You don't have as much need to be super-aggressive here like you would if you only had a flush draw, which would be quite obvious if it came in.

Now the same is true on the turn, the BDNFD is well-hidden and likely to be paid if it hits and he has something decent. But now the problem is his bet size. He is representing that he has nothing or very little, so your implied odds are not as good as they may seem. Still his very little could easily be ahead of your Ace-high, so if you can get him to fold something like 99 it's a coup. So given his bet size, I raise the turn to something like $9.00, and the unfortunate & few times he pushed I'd probably call. More often he's going to fold, and sometimes he'll flatcall in which case I'm prepared to go all-in on the river if I feel he can fold a pair.

The flop draw is too ****ty for a call. Not well disguised, no way to get payed off with it, no way to rep much if he checks turn and you bet turn on a blank, for all you know you're drawing dead already, etc. So raising (and turning your hand into a bluff if you wish) is better than calling imo. Especially against a donk who's value-towning you with like 94s here and will fold to a raise like 90% of the time.
