bet for value..seems like he has AK here... He may think his A is good now that the board paired again.

Value from what? 66 and 77? Check behind and expect to see an overpair.

How can he call the turn with ace high?

This was my line of thought because I had been playing fairly loose+aggro, and I thought I would get rr'd on turn or donked into on river if he had an over.

Yet he's playing 16/11?

This is surely a check behind imo. I see villains playing 10 10, etc. like this constantly, although they're definitely not folding to any river bet. I just don't see what you're getting value from if you bet, nor am I sure you're even good here a huge % of the time.

If you don't take your own self to value town on occasion then I'd argue you're not trying to make some thin value on occasion, but I just really don't see this as one of those spots at all.

Check behind on river

It's really really thin and a better hand never folds here

given action, especially the turn bet sizing i cib. if we had bet turn smaller maybe he could have Ax here and we could get thin value. as played he likely has an overpair and theres no value on the river.

Check behind imo the value here is really slim and he Is rarely folding worse.
