Villain is >50% VPIP and defends almost all his raises from 3-bets so probably has lots of trash in his range.
Would it have been better to make a big raise on the flop and pile money in the middle while I'm pretty sure I'm good?
Or just disbelieve villain and call river?

Why did you not four bet PF? If villain is defending all his raises he will almost certainly call your four bet. If he 5! shoves it still is an easy call, and if he has AA so be it. After four betting pre your SPR will bbq low enough to make this hand essentially play itself. You will be looking to get it in on any non-ace high flop (like this one). If the river made him good, oh well, that’s poker. You would have still made a profitable shove OTF (assuming villain calls).

EDIT - never mind. Sorry I misread the hand history. I got confused and thought you were the one flatting the three bet PF. With that in mind, no flop raise? If he really is defending wide vs three bets your KK is likely crushing his range. A reraise and maybe you can find a fold. More than likely though you are in good shape on this flop and building a pot at this point is probably profitable. Continue betting on the turn and probably check call the river A. (If villain makes it that far).

Hey meolam,
Raise on the flop and bet on the turn against the fish. We have a strong hand and want to get our opponent's stack.
You can use a small block bet or check/call on the River.

Using a hand converter would improve the readability of your posts and likely lead to more replies.
It helps to present the hand in a standardized format that other users are familiar with, making it easier for them to understand and offer feedback.

Typically, such converters are built into trackers, or you can use these:
