As a poker player and therefore likely candidate for caveman posture, you should stay away from front raises and too much pressing and focus more on things like rear lateral raises, face pulls, rows, YTW stuff and rotator cuff work.

This will not only help your posture and therefore make you look and feel a ton better, it will drastically reduce the likelihood of shoulder injuries and also improve your overall strength and functionality

Everyone just presses all day and then sits hunched over a computer the rest of the time which is basically a complete physical disaster for so many reasons

tbh those are the ones I do and dont know face pulls rows and the others(by definition at least) but you can counter some of the effects youre talking about by doing more yoga and core, those will deff improve posture and aesthetics.

Max 80kg, but I've never pushed myself seriously.

Yeah yoga is awesome and core work is essential for sure, but the exercises I mentioned (of which there are tons of you tube videos of all of them) will massively help the slumped shoulders of desk jockeys and constant weight lifter shoulder issues

^ nice steady progress Rosh. What's yr weight loss strat? Diet / cardio?

I am currently trying to shed a few pounds and lower bf%. I'm 10 days into a ketogenic diet and have lost 1.5kg, though I would assume a lot of that is water shedding. Can't quite bring myself to do any cardio tho

I only made a few small changes:

1. Cut back on carbs - so no dietary changes at all just less carbs in my meal
2. A little more exercise - I only go gym like twice a week but I have been playing badminton like once or twice a week since December
3. Less crap late at night - I swapped eating chocolate/ carbs late at night (after 10pm) for fruit. Grapes are my new best friend

That's it really, nothing too exciting

Hi guys. I'm at 200lb down from 235lb.

Probably around 12-15% bf now.

Aiming to get to around 180l (unless I feel like I'm losing too much strength / muscle tissue).

Posting for accountability. Good luck all.

All solid stuff. I used play badminton when I was younger and it's intense! An hour of that is a serious cardio session.

If you're missing chocolate, you could have the 90% cocoa dark stuff, which is pretty low in carbs (prob less sugar than fruit tbh) and it's too rich to eat large quantities of.

Just weighed myself this morning and lost 1/2 stone in 13 days. Loving the keto diet

**** the bed... after a long arse day at work I demolished a chicken wrap, 12" folded meat feast pizza and the free garlic bread. This was after eating my "clean" food that I had prepped. Not a good start to the week haha

Wow I don't even remember writing this post, but it turns out I made fitness goals and have achieved them (new goals obviously, but stoked with the progress).

Thanks mate.

Pretty much only lifting, very little cardio (a 5k once a month or so). Mostly been doing powerlifting workouts, but lately I've found myself enjoying more bodybuilding/hypertrophy style work.

I keep hearing about long distance cardio being bad for your muscles. Really can't tell if it's just bro science.

Lol what does this even mean? What is 'long distance' and what does 'bad for muscles' mean? Hint - it's probably broscience unless you can give some pretty specific conditions for it being correct (ie running 150 miles/week is not conducive to being a competitive powerlifter).

I'm 90% sure it's disproven broscience.
