reading rawk is hilarious, they all acting as if a family member has just died. A lot of the people are saying they want the yanks to be gone for firing kenny.

They finished one place lower than they did last season and they won the Carling Cup. It really wasn't THAT bad.

lol nobody cares about the carling cup apart from the team that wins it that season. Everybody laughs at other teams for winning and about how they brag about it but as soon as your team win it, its like OMG TROPHY even though they (liverpool) prob would of been sayin same about birmingham the season before. Carling cup is **** and will always be pointless

It was their worst top flight return of points since 1962. Not only that but they also had one of their worst ever seasons at home, won less than 33% of their home league games and had one of the least successful seasons infront of goal iirc. They invested £100 million into a squad that didn't even get close to European qualification through the league (with regard to points), which is what they would normally have to rely on. Their signings have been ridiculously poor value with the exception of Bellamy and Enrique, in fact Downing, Adam and Henderson have been considered massive flops (though to be fair to Henderson hasn't been bad, just hasn't been good).

All this for a club with arguably the greatest heritage in the country? Two cup runs do not cover up that that is an absurdly poor season.

I feel bad for Carroll, he was a beast for us in the few premiership games he played lol. It's not his fault Liverpool paid such a mental price for him.
