i had about a 70 BI downswing. have any of you regular winners had worse than that?

Jesus christ. I would've quit poker. Were you playing guys you had a really small edge on? I can't imagine this could happen against your average fish.

70 bi's is pretty sick; i had around 50 in around 250 games but never more than that

i did it in only 250 games too. but i guess it was more like a 60 BI drop. actually that graph isn't filtered. the vast majority is husng though. but i did have a horrific mtt run in there with the exception of that one big win you can see.

I needed to vent a little so I sat a 50nl hu deep table (obv i suck at deepstacked poker but whatever). Not too far in, villain lost 100bb's of his stack due to calling a 4bet with QQ then crai on a 732ccc board and I called with AA (neither of us had a club). My image is pretty aggro I guess, villain doesn't look ******ed or anything fwiw.

I like preflop, flop, and turn. I think that you're really optimistic if you think he can call with anything you beat on the river for a 200bb+ bet. Shoving is a perfect bet size (and I really can't see any other sizing following this action) but your hand isn't strong enough to stick the money in this deep. Check the river.

k thx; pretty much what Grow said on aim, shoving river kind of looks bad looking afterwards; fwiw, he only has $95 left on river, not $100+, but it doesn't make that much of a difference obv
he timebank/called with 76ss, which is probably the only hand i can expect to get called by some % of the time (and he should probably fold river in that spot)

I think 67 is a fold. You are never playing aces this fast on this flop and if your hand can beat one pair of aces on this flop it must be two pair+. So if I have the worse two pair possible and you fire turn and shove river this deep, I think it's a fold unless you were just going berserk all match.

Edit: Or maybe you are playing aces like this on the flop. I guess if he includes overpairs in your range it's less bad of a call but it's still bad for $95 more on the river.

Dude, the place is the nuts... The restaurants there are fantastic if your into that kind of thing (like i obv am), but the whole place + surrounding areas (Port Douglas if you get a chance), is great. The only problem is too many QLDers but hey what do you expect in QLD, they are a pathetic bunch imo. haha.

The Goldie is also great, but for going somewhere with your gf, i think you can't go wrong with Cairns.!

FWIW, 67ss is a terribad call on the end by him. Especially given that shoving T7 here is optimistic, i think his call with 67 is utterly terrible. BUT, once again spammy u find a ******... haha.

Like where I'm from we have ski fields, guaranteed good surf, good fishing (although not always as the surf makes it hard to get out sometimes) and nice bush.

We tend to lack in the nightlife department tho.
