is it std at the $100 reg speeds to float with unders + backdoor flushdraw?

edit: out of position vs a preflop raise + cbet?

Back in Portland for the summer, whee end of school year.

Read Moshman's book on the flight for kicks. It seems decent as an introductory text, and it's entertaining reading pros butchering so many hands. Does well to explain some points (SAGE, stabbing without showdown value, etc) and doesn't make many major errors imo. Not a terrible thing for a beginner to pick up or an intermediate player to read when trying to get back to the fundamentals.

Just got done with my ravioli's and watching Trainspotting. Both my food and the movie were quite good. So many movies I've missed out in the last 10 years. Been checking out a bunch now that I have netflix. Good stuff.

Oh, and I think it's pretty much official. My computer is ****ed. Gonna have to get a new one. Good thing I got this laptop a few weeks ago. Getting the new computer will be fun, transferring the files from my current HD and reinstalling all the programs will not be. Bleh.

I LOVE RPG's. They have always been my favorite type of games. So when MMORPG's came out I was in heaven. Even before I had a computer I would just stare at screen shots of Ultima Online in PC magazines. I'd stare at the pictures and day dream for hours imagining myself in the game which I had never played, hah.

I look back and think about all the other stuff I could have done with my life. Learned a new language, played an instrument, dance, learn to sing, take a poetry class, learn comedy, martial arts, working out, meeting people and on and on. So much that could have been accomplished and I didn't take advantage of it. You're the same age I was when I was playing the online RPG's so save yourself before it's too late! hah. Obviously it's not THAT dramatic but I'm confident that when you're my age (30) you're gonna look back at your early 20's and wonder why you invested so much time in something so void. You can spend all that time pretending your some online warrior in a far off land or you can hang out with your Wife more, take your dog to the park, get to know your parents better, learn a new skill, do the stuff you've been wanting to but keep putting off ( like getting a haircut haha ;p ).

So yeah, dude, that's my take on it all. The MMORPG's still whisper to me in my dreams but I resist. Much more enjoyable and productive things I do with my time now.

nice post Trank , I live in rural-mc-rural's town over here, so nobody except my wife knows a diff. language to teach ;p, but i'll try to think up some cooler stuff to do w/my freetime.

btw if you guys feel this way about video games, why is watching a movie less horrendous (i've spent a RIDIC amount of time watching movies, and series... like God... so much time spent on TV stuff)
