There must be some pshychological reason for this stalling, I mean why does *everybody* time down instead of hitting decline????

Hmm. I thought updates are mandatory, meaning you terminate program if you cancel an update.

No, updates are not mandatory, at least not until a bunch of updates are piled on.

I update manually, so sometimes I go a few months without updating my stars client and eventually they make me update it.
