NL10 - KK and I flop a set NL10 - KK and I flop a set

Hi,

I need some opinions on this hand, I don't feel I played it too well but take a look anyway. I'll start off saying I haven't played with villain before and I don't know how wide his 3 betting range or anything on him. I've played a bit more with him since so I have a bit more info.

Here's the stats I have on villain: 234 hands, VPIP 43.97, PFR 11.21, AF 2.60, 3Bet 7.29

So I guess on reflection he's pretty LAG.

I'll just say a few thoughts on the hand.

I played my KK quite slow pre-flop like this as there was a raise, then a re-raise. I wanted to see what MP2 was going to do and usually when i've been in the situation of a raise and re-raise that's been AA that i'm up against, but as I said I don't know so much about the players in this pot. So I opted to just call instead of raising/shoving.

Flop came and I was worried about AA pre-flop but I find it a bit less likely villain flopped a set of aces and would shove the flop, so i'm thinking potentially it could be QQ/AK/AQ/AJ/AT, only hand i'm really worried about is JT but with my little knowledge of villain I don't see why I should give him credit for 3 betting pre-flop. So a lot of hands i'm ahead of, 2 i'm behind. I play for the check-raise on the flop and villain gladly complies by shoving on the flop and I don't know the villain and i'm suspicious about his bet. Is my call standard?

Wouldn't this statement here be enough to justify a call here?

Preflop there is someone to act between you and CO, are you calling in hopes to play this hand three way? If so, why would you want to out of postion? Are you going to fold this preflop if MP2 gits jiggy?

I 4 bet this aggro ****** all day especially out of position. I want this hand between me and the ******.

Flop you are never folding a set of Kings against and aggro ******. Sometimes you will run into AA or JT, but not most of the time..
