Betting isn't bad but vs a random guy with that stack I'd probably just try and show it down, dunno

I like to make stabs in places like this totally based on my opponents stats and any notes I have on him. When it's vs a totally unknown I tend to lean toward checking.

I think hands like this are far more important to analyze than having AA on 662 vs a shove...

anyways, I think the turn is a check because he has a lot of pocket pairs that will call

yeah I like a check here vs unknown, if he checks back maybe stab at the river but again depends on info you have on opponent

Pocket pairs are only a small portion of a standard CO's opening range. Saying for OP not to bet because these will call does not really make any sense in analyzing the hand.

A6/A5/A4/J10/J9s/77/88/99/1010/AQ/AK are all calling here and can check flop

Agreed. Exactly why him advising a check because pocket pairs will call makes no sense.

Easy check for this reason IMO. You got showdown value

Obv it's not true that you rep nothing by betting the turn, but I would check with this particular hand. I would def be bluffing some of our hands that have less showdown value though.

the problem imo is that this is a good flop to cbet for the opponent.

So when he checks it looks like he has mostly some kind of hand with showdown value which he is not going to fold at least vs one turn bet

Whats up PSN

I think I'd rather bet flop if I'm going to try to steal. As played I think I check.
