Pros and Cons of turn checking/betting?
After reviewing the hand I feel like checking is better because:
-we're betting for protection only against AQ or other Ax, not many worse hands will call if any at all. K hits his preflop 3betting range very well.

The problem with betting here I guess is that it's a great spot for V to bluff x/r with his Ahx combos and with the 4x open and 4x raise the pot is quite big already and we now have just 2nd pair, so I think a check might be better.

we're isolating a limper and the 3bet is quite small OOP, only 3x

I would say check/call is better in this situation if you want to take that line. I agree with Rikk that betting here just makes a great spot for V to bluff you off the hand.

^ D'oh sorry, right you are. Point stands about the pot being quite big already though.

Keep in mind first off, he's the aggressor in this hand.
I think he's repping a flush (draw) and tells the story the whole way through.
You aren't in bad shape and I don't disagree with this fold as played but I would have c/c the turn and re-evaled on the river.
I'm somewhat disregarding his stats cuz it's 9 hands.
