V is 33 / 33 / 20 over 12 hands.

Do we consider raising this turn to deny Vs equity or are we better off letting V bluff river?

3bet preflop.
As played I wouldn't be advocating raising the turn after villain bets big on flop AND turn.
Not calling that river over-bet. From my experience at these limits overbets are usually nutted and all you have now is a bluff catcher. Sure he could have AK but more often they have a boat.

3bet pre. I like leading turn, not giving him a free card, vs XR. But as played, don't hate a XR either. Usually these large size bets on nondescript boards at these stakes means they don't have sht, so raising turn vs draws and for value is fine, since we can't expect him to always bluff. River call is probably ok too considering the previous street sizings. I assume you lost the hand, but the river call is ok.

Are you pure 3betting JJ here? I have it as a mix vs. UTG and HJ.

Vs a a good reg , i don't mind a call as you're pretty capped and he can apply max pressure on all your low-med pairs. Against a fish i'm snap folding as they don't have enough overbet bluffs on rivers.

I was pretty much readless on this V. Most of the pool at 2nl are fish, but I do frequently see random players join a table and just bluff off nonsense in their first few hands.

Yes, mixed 3bet/call in solver indeed, I could be convinced in practice pure 3betting is better, would like to read the arguments.

I don't think NL2 population really bluffs like this, not only MP triple barrels but they bet big on the flop already and finish with a river overbet.

Raising turn makes them fold their trash that you hope they barrel. With those bet sizes they are supposed to be polarized with "trash" like QJ and pretty good hands. In theory you have the condensed range and your destiny is to bluffcatch or fold.

Then you should go with your population read. Many players like to bluff even at low stakes, but in my opinion the bluffs are not as well constructed as this line.

That said the call is solver-approved: if you're right you feel like a genius and if you're wrong you say "good play but bad luck, that's poker"
