Think I should just bet, bet, check this hand or was this find how i played it? I kept running into monsters so i've had to be careful.

I think i'm gonna lose this hand no mater how i play it, so not really sure which is best

I suppose if I overbet turn he folds but that kinda seems insane

I think I like leading turn for pot - and just checking river - probably calling - would of lost more but jeez

Flop can go either way. Fish can make random bluffs when you check to them and your hand cant go for 3streets so check is fine.
I would just bet turn, hand is strong enough to bet turn and river, when he checks flop its most likely some kind of weak pair maybe Ax. Dont pot it, you want calls from 9x 7x pp ect. AP-Rest is fine ap.

Just bet flop. He had the exact kind of hand we want to draw value from and they have a ton of weaker Ax that might check back too. If you're ritually checking value to fish OOP with the betting lead you're asking for problems.

Think you have to bet either flop or turn yourself, you can’t get 3 streets but you can def get 2 on a clean runout, esp against a fish. Too much equity realization given for free by not betting
