your just gonna bleed your roll at 50nl, so I think you should sit down at 1000nl with your roll and either double up or go broke in a blaze of glory and quit poker for good

Superb. Just busted a dudes $250 stack. Thought **** was on the up and up.

Then I run KK into another ****ing set. WHAT THE ****.

Edit to add: as I typed this I ran two pair into a flopped flush, and lost about 30bb. This is absolutely ****ing ridiculous.
11-23-2009 , 09:47 PM
I love turning the nuts, getting called by air, and having the board counterfeit me on the river for a split. Twice.

11-23-2009 , 10:45 PM
WTF is this, same person 4 times i cant beat.

10K chip lead and i lose with AQ straight to a flush
Then i get in 6k and 6k with AKh and he has AJ and 4 clubs come so he flushes and im out

Exact same person who hit that runner runner with J3 and who hit the 3 outer straight on the river

looooooooool theres something going on with this guy, 4 times i have him below 5bb and he hasnt missed a all in.
Just checked my all ins and i have 10 vs him and ive lost them all over the two times ive played him and yet ive absolutly crushed him the entire heads up game.

YOU THINK

The saddest part is that if you actually played this correctly you would have won the hand

I took a completely different line than what I had been taking in 3-bet pots because I wasn't getting any turn value from villain, and attempted to CR the turn on the driest board possible. Hoping that villain would sense weakness in my check and either bluff or bet a worse pair or continue for me with a worse K, and I could CRAI... saying I misplayed the hand is a ****ing crock of ****.

Maybe I should reply to your boneheaded comment by saying, "well Halfwitted, betting the turn would have been awful because villain would have folded his gutter to an $18 turn bet."

Yeah so you definitely misplayed the hand.

Here's what you should do:

1. Take a break from poker.
2. Stop posting in the HUNL tilt thread.
3. Stop feeling sorry for yourself.
4. Get a job to supplement and stabilize your bankroll.
5. Study, a lot.
6. Start playing again.
7. When you are stable, offer refunds to whoever you coached.

how did you manage to lose 6 buyins after having 300$ left just to start the next session with 1300?

lol@ saying I misplayed this hand. You guys are so ****ing results oriented it's sick.

Villains range weights heavily towards air, smaller pairs, and worse kings. He's going to fold all of his range except Kx when I bet the turn for $15-$18. MAYBE he'll peel with 99 or TT, but I doubt it as he likely knows that if I bet the turn deuce I'm not bluffing very often and will be barreling the river.

By checking the turn I give him a golden opportunity to steal the pot with a bet. My check looks super weak, and he could def attempt to get me to fold AQ, AJ, 99, TT. The board is dry as ****, and I'm really only afraid of 66 (and lets face it, I would probably get stacked in this scenario), and there aren't many bad rivers.

I took basically the whole month of October off, and of the 4k hands I did play, I was a 35PTBB/100 winner and made a bunch of money quick. I haven't really any poker in the last month and a half.

I played two days in November, and decided to pick it back up late last week and got absolutely crushed my first three sessions. Yeah, I may be spewing, calling too light in some of these hands, but it's ABSURD at how often I'm ahead before the river, and behind when that card hits or how dominated I am on the flop with relatively good hands (overs in 3-bet pots, two pairs, 15 outters, etc). I've probably seen more 2-5 outters in the last 3k hands than I have in the last 10k prior to that. I want to puke.

I'm not feeling sorry for myself, I'm just using this thread to freak out, and maintain some level of sanity. I don't have the luxury of bitching to a fellow grinder or roommate.

I don't doubt my ability, I have a ~200k hands of poker this year (I don't play a ton) and have a winrate at 50NL HU that is now around 6PTBB/100, and was 9.5PTBB/100 before this trainwreck.

Maybe this is ALL tilt related, and I'm just too mind****ed to realize it.
