It's gonna be a pretty rare circumstance that someone is going to make a bet where their betting partner is certain of the outcome, but they are not. Also, afaik if a bet needs escrow it's not booked until money hits the escrow.

And it's not really like putting a bounty on oneself at all. I would actually like to know what you think is similar about the situations other than they are both "bets" and people are able to welch on them both? Did I read that right?

I'll ask again, did you really expect him to just transfer over $10,000 after glancing at a screenshot? What if he had said $30,000 or $200,000? At what point are we getting silly?

EVERYONE is a bumhunter. I'm under-rolled for these games, and on a huge online downswing, and still noone will play me at 2/4 and 3/6. It's absolutely unreal guys - how do you ever expect to get better at poker grinding and game selecting like nits. I mean I get it - you want to just grind out a steady living, not deal with the stress.. but don't any of you have dreams / ambitions of playing 50/100 etc.? Where's the competitive drive, etc etc.

Stars people: What type of FPP earnage do you get on there playing HU? I have like 130k fpps from back in the day and was thinking about coming over to try the HU and grind some FPPs for a new TV.

I'm getting 0.23 VPP/hand at 1/2 HU. Definitely not as much of a goldmine as 6max/FR.

Who is the best poster in the HUNL forum in terms of being both honest and tactful, contributing sound advice without coming off as a douche? Also helpful if they have a sense of humor, balance talking about other life stuff with poker, and are well liked/respected in the community.

I'd probably vote for Pasterbator. Thoughts? (No particular reason on doing this, except that I like to rank everything). Also is there a general correlation between poker skill and the tone of a poster? Such that 50nl-100nl players tend to be too nice, apologetic, give advice with an asterix, etc., 200nl-600nl players probably tending to be the worst // most competitive with each other, each vying to prove he or she is king or queen of the small-stakes to mid-stakes world of NL, one-upping, etc., and such that 1000nl players ++ tend to be arrogant, but also speak truth, such that they can get away with it. Offering mostly good advice, not always in the most tactful tone, but rarely questioned.

Edit: This probably came off as a SandersJonez post but I actually think there are nuggets of wisdom amidst his random ramblings of internal thoughts. He may be a gimmick account but likely by one or more good players.

HUCash is *extremely* bad for FPP generation. HUSNGs are the opposite though, and are quite possibly the fastest way to generate FPPs out there.

i've said it before and i'll say it again, if anyone makes a thread and really wants my opinion, you just have to link me to it in a PM.

I read over basically every HU cash thread and many sng threads, but i don't post in everything. If i see someone (LJ/snipes/scansion/EVEN CFTW etc) make a good post that i completely agree with, I usually don't bother posting because its clear that its the right answer. But if a lesser known person makes a good post, i will often make a statement agreeing with them just so people don't ignore the lesser known poster.

And usually once a week i just go on a mission and post in every thread that seems semi interesting bc I like to do that.

So yea, PM me if you really really want me to respond to a thread that i somehow missed.
