*******HU CASH Regs thread******* - Page 868 - Micro Stakes Pot Limit and No Limit

i really want to learn HU cash. i do not want to play SNGs. i've played plenty of HU cash, and it's clear that i'm somewhere between not completely terrible and not all that great. i'd like play a ton of hands to try to get better. but at NL50 i swing up and down $500/day, and i just don't want to gamble with that much $. it certainly could also be the case that i'm not good enough to beat the rake there. but at NL20, the rake is just huge. assuming i'm slightly better than the field there, i just get owned by the rake. how the **** can i practice HU cash without burning $50-100/day?

dude u can still barely beat 50nl and show some profit
either way my best advice is to build a bigger roll with sngs and play 100bb at 50nl

sure, but i need somewhere to practice what i'm learning, no? for someone who is better than the NL20 field, but not better than the NL50 field by a wide enough margin to beat the NL50 rake, it's a bit of an expensive proposition to practice in either game.

CFTW, take his advise, man, but don't do the "bang lots of chicks" part. At this stage u might be comparing and hurt yourself more. Just try to stay calm, try to open up in socializing with maybe few more unknown to you people. Try to fill up free time with something analytical, or pick up some neutral books from love stuff, and find one that will get you interested. Add some new phisical activities, try out for once whatever u'll think of might shake u up alitle bit. Stay away from drugs, alcohol and restrain from lots of grind. Playing some here and there would be good though, but not much, andnot routine as u did before.
