just wondering how many more hands i would need to play at each level to get a good idea of what my BB/100 is?

any advice from reg would be helpful, ty.
I've read that something like 2.5-3 million will give you an idea within +-1ptbb

dingdongallday

I gave dingdong about 10 games, he seems 2 be a decent agressive player and is more than willing to put in lots of reraises preflop to constant raises from the button..

Btw, anyone interested in some sort of petition/group email/whatever to FTP support to try and make them cap the number of openable tables to 2/player, and you can open more as they get filled ?

I don't think it would work, but we could try, it's really getting ridiculous, and i don't want to waste my time tableblocking morons opening 25tables

just fwiw, 6+ at anything over 5/10 is pretty damn good. 6+ at MSNL or lower is pretty easy to do.

what you think about 6ptbb/100 at 1/2 NL MasterLJ?

put it this way, you think a 6ptbb/100 winner (over 100k hands) at 1/2 could beat 5/10+ for 2.5-3.5ptbb/100?

What about 2/4? It seems like this is a very big skill jump from 1/2 ---> 2/4

The relationship is not transitive at all with winrates and stakes. It's even possible that someone who can beat 5/10 for 6ptbb can't beat 1/2. They play very different.

6ptbb at 1/2 is extremely doable. I think I ran at 12.8 over 80k... obviously that's probably running fairly hot, but it's not a stretch to think I ran at overall EV given that I was game selecting. I know that AI equity-wise I did run only a few BIs hot (like 4)... but as most of you know AI equity EV is only a small part of the variance story.

I'm sure a bunch of the posters here are over that. I m running at around 8.7ptBB/100 over the last 105k hands, and at 11.5ptBB/100 over the last 45k hands at 2-4/3-6.

Given game selection and how bad the games were back then, I kinda don't think it's stupid hot for 1/2. Certainly no one would say it was a bad run of cards. FFS kaintd77 was at like 18 PTBB over 190k hands at midstakes during the same time period.
