I can't even access the vids I bought separately on CardRunners anymore... What a f***ing great update from them.

I even made a whinepost on their forums about trying to hide the signup fee and not being able to view those vids.

That's the main problem - before taking a break was good thing to do, but now all I have been doing is having a break (played total 30K hands so far this year). It is second day i'm playing, had 1 week+ break before this, I can't take a break again

I don't know that that's the best example of the principles he was talkin about. Their 6 month deal is actually worse than the monthly, and the 12 month deal is the same price, $30/mo. That's just dumb.

Offering an option that nobody wants will influence people's decisions. It makes both the first and last option seem better then if the middle option was not present.

Maybe to people that can't divide. The example he provided with The Economist actually made sense because the dominated option made the third option look like a good deal, but the second option here just ... doesn't do anything. The other two options are the same thing, and actually the 12 month option is worse because you're obligated to a longer period.

I remember when I signed up there was a benefit to buying the yearly membership (like they wave the $70ish signup fee or something if you pay for a year in advance). It might even be more, like $120, so that you actually are paying less if you buy a 6 month membership (than if you pay $120 + $180 for 6 indiv. months.)

Yeah, I would imagine this is the case. I don't think they're actually stupid enough to not realize what's going on there.

No-Limit Hold'em, $4.00 BB (2 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Hero (SB) ($419)
BB ($506)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A, 10
Hero bets $10, BB raises $36, Hero calls $28

Flop: ($80) 9, 9, 9 (2 players)
BB bets $79, Hero calls $79

Turn: ($238) 8 (2 players)
BB bets $387 (All-In), Hero folds

Total pot: $238

Villain is SSNL HU regular, just 20 hands, 3bet 27%. What do you think about this hand, always fold flop? Shove >>> call on flop? As played, fold turn? And what if instead of potsize flop cbet it would been half pot, then call is ok?

I guess you don't have enough hands to know, but leading for pot on the flop seems weird on that board. idk, it's definitely a fold on the turn, but that turn bet is pretty odd.

If you want to PM me any issues you are having I'll make sure it is being addressed by support (it probably is because you made a separate thread, but just for 100% certainty i suggest you PM me so I can make sure of it).

this was a massive update to the website. we combined two poker training sites here and made a bunch of other changes to the site. there are going to be mistakes and we know that, we've been around long enough that we figure people will trust that we'll make things right.

as for the signup fee issue, we're changing the way that looks because it's just not done all that well IMO. we're no out to screw anybody, mistakes happen but we'll get it right.

Hey, I was just wondering what people do as a standard in that spot (readless) :

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $2(BB) Poker Stars
Hero ($384)
($216)

Dealt to Hero A Q

raises to $6, Hero raises to $20, calls $14

FLOP ($40) 7 K J

Hero ?
