yeah its exactly how i feel, now bc ftp has the rule there are a couple of huge bumhunters on stars who are abusing the system like 'xenor30' 'blulinej' and 'pain-bg'. before stars implemented the rule almost all regs sat at 2 to 3 tables at a limit but now to compensate so many are sitting at 5+ and its getting ridic.

For everyone who has complained about stars - how you sent support e-mails about it?

They seem to respond to feedback and I'm surprised FT did something and PS is just squatting.

I agree, but usually the douchebags who open a crazy amount of tables are also bumhunters.

I talk from my own experience, ofc. Today I saw an idiot sitting at 8 tables on Stars, I joined 3 of his tables, he played like 5 hands and instaleft. And this has happened to me more than once.

FTP rule is a bit extreme imo. I don't mind anyone opening 2-3 tables at the same limit

Anybody know where the HU table rules for FTP are posted? I know there was that email but when I warn people sitting 4+ tables they sometimes ask "Where can I see the rules?" and I don't have an answer and I can't report them since they probably honestly don't know and I don't want to get people tempbanned.

There are a ton of people still violating at NL400. The guy who was waiting like 10 tables and told me to **** off because he owned part of FTP is only sitting 1 at each limit now so FTP must be doing something in response to my emails.

LOL you did same to me on ipoker. Actually you took a buy-in then refused to play. Shame on you. I prefer to stay anonymous so don't ask my SN.

Are you sure it was me? If so I apologize but at that time I was never opening more than 3-4 tables (nowadays I only open 3). We can play whenever you want although I play at Stars.

PM me if you're interested

If they want to sit all day and wait for fish and get in 300 hands while "playing" for 7 hours, be my guest. With the new FTP rules. everyone has the same chance to get a fish so whether or not someone is a bumhunter doesn't matter at all.

The HU community needs to get over that term.

Yours truly,

ty. this animosity towards bumhunters who arent also sitting at 893856 tables makes very little sense to me. some people play poker for money and not ego. if they realize they're not that good and/or want a low variance, low stress approach, it's perfectly logical to sit there all day waiting for idiots.

i mean, this is almost the same as demonizing people who play a ton of hours or 4+ tables at a time. "THEY'RE TAKING ALL THE FISH. SOOOOOOO UNFAIR!!!!"

i play basically anyone at my stakes (with the exception of about 5 people who have ridiculous win rates and i have played before). if you have really good numbers on TR and someone quits you after a couple hands when you sit them, that is a rational decision on their part.

whining about bumhunters who dont clog up the lobby is being a nit about other people's nittiness.

My closing thoughts on the matter is that all bumhunters are in for a very rude awakening in the next 6 months.

if that is true then everybody (6max, FR, HU players alike) is in for a rude awakening

LJ the bumhunters are all going to be begging you to coach them in a year anyway, you'll get the money eventually regardless

Seriously tho I think the only way to survive at HU MSNL in the next few years will be to basically just play anyone except maybe the very best regs at your limit. It is pretty clear that the games are getting tougher and you're better off learning to beat regs instead of playing only bad players who will eventually become regs, and then you'll be ****ed. On that point I guess MasterLJ is right

not at all.

there are a lot of bum hunters that are playing higher than their skill level dictates simply because they have been able to build a roll versus continuous soft competition. as the market gets more and more flooded with HU "specialists" the tighter game selectors will find their hourly drop lower, their short term variance increase, and all the mind**** comes with that.

i dont really think this is approaching really fast or anything, but it will eventually happen. the strong (or the rungood) will survive and the lobby should be a bit more lonely.

if the lobby becomes more flooded with specialists and then the lobby gets more lonely it will be just like it currently is

I think LJ was referring more to there being less fish in 6months b/c of UIEGA more so than increased HU grinders...if fish can't deposit then eventually the money all works its way to the top of the food chain

i have most of my roll on stars and want to just put money on fulltilt without having to wait for ages for everything to clear. i'm thinking of transferring around 3K any chance someone would be up for me sending them 3K on stars and you sending me 3K on tilt? We could send it $300 at a time if there is an issue with trust.

Sorry but why does MasterLJ keep referencing future UIGEA regulations as problematic for U.S. players? It was my understanding that the general feeling was that PPA efforts/ need for revenue would make it easier for American players to deposit and play in the future...
