i wouldnt suggest doing this, as you will proably end up folding the best hand some of the time lol

also i think the sickest fold in plo ive ever seen was boosted at 25/50, he folded the nut full house KKxx, on a JKxxJ board.

Do you guys quit player who are running like god? I don´t want to but the last few days I dropped like 6 buy-ins against two players who were running like god. Flush over flush, quads vs FH etc.

Very bad fish players but it looks like you cannot win.

I personally don't have a problem with it. Any player, even a bad one, when they are winning, will be playing better than their normal game. This usually means (for a bad player) they won't be playing as loose or be bluffing as much. They don't need to play poorly (gambool!!) to try and win money - they have already won.

It seems after a terrible player goes up like 1 or 2 buyins on you they will just be making their marginal small mistakes like calling too wide pre, and when you're trying to exploit them for their stack they will, for example, fold to your huge river VB because they don't have to risk it. Have you ever shoved in on a river knowing he's got TP and will call to have your villain time out and instaleave the table up a buyin? That's what is happening there.

When they're winning they're not going to be playing as poorly, and you might be. Seems like an okay time to quit for me. And think about the other positives - you just made that fish's day. He sat down, "challenged" one of the masses waiting for headsup action, WON, and had his opponent leave the table! I'm pretty sure the fish have emotions too and that's gotta feel victorious and bring them back for more. It's okay to let them win once in a while

I quit a fish down $2300 at 1/2 the other day. I was playing poorly, lost my mindset, and he was on a heater.

I stacked off 5bis deep on some coordinated board on the flop in 4b pot with KK. Didn't even realize/care we were $1k deep.

Hi.

I am making the transition from donkaments to NL HU Cash and want some poker buddies to do some strat talk or sweat sessions with.

I built my 5k roll up to 75k by playing donkaments but lost ~20k recently in a huge downswing. Now that university started again I can't play the long donkament sessions anymore and need something more flexible. So I decided to relearn HU cash. I played a bit HU cash >1 year ago, but the games probably got tougher. So I am starting at low stakes again.

Currently I am playing 100nl way overrolled but planning on moving up pretty quickly. Would be nice if some competent 100nl-400nl players were interested (especially europeans cause being in a similar time zone would help to get this going)...
