yes, mostly having any confidence that i can win..a stretch like that is pretty hard to handle psychologically..definitely makes it harder to play well.

but thanks for your positive comment.

How important is the all-in EV stat in HU?

After my first 55k hands of HU, I'm winning at like ~2.5ptbb, but I'm 1600 ptbbs below EV. So according to HEM, if all my all-ins would have averaged out normally, I should be winning at like 6 ptbb.

So am I a marginal winner or a decent winner on a run of bad luck?

edit: oh, I realized the guy above me posted an EV graph. So is that guy a winning player or not ?? There is a huge discrepency between where he is and where he should be.

i'm a pretty significant winner over 600k hands..i've obviously had to move down b/c of this, but if you are strict w/ BR management then you're fine. 55k hands isn't enough to accurately judge how much of a winner you are though

Yeah, I didn't mean it as a personal question about you specifically, I meant someone who has a graph like that, and let's say it's all they had to show.

So you think 55k hands isn't much - 170k seems like quite a bit? If some guy started out playing HU and had that graph, would you think of him as a winning player ?

it'd be close..there's a lot of tilt to overcome, so i'd probably say yes based on that graph

you'd say the person who is down 11k (at what i presume to be 2/4, 1/2) over 160k hands but because they're slightly up using AIEV is more likely a winning player than a losing one w/o any more history?

Not that I disagree with this, but what's the longest downswing you've had?

over like 350k hands of headsup i dont think i've had any significantly "long" downswings (not that this can't occur ofc). My runbad has generally come in the form of extreme monthlong runbad.

I said nothing in the chat what so ever, until I noticed for the 3rd time he kept winning a couple of small pots and leaving, then joining all my waiting lists to do it again.

i'm not really sure what I done to deserve it, but w/e
