Carbon is a terrible place to play HU. Rake is capped at $1, no rakeback, little action, and they ban you for winning.

Done a short search and can't seem to find any threads on office/grinding chairs, looking to spend ~$200, any ideas?

For $200 your options are pretty limited, I'd go for the Ikea MARKUS.

imo the main thing when buying a cheaper one is to make sure you can adjust the height such that your elbows/arms can rest comfortably on the table without hitching your shoulder up, cause that's what causes a heap of tightness in your neck and rhomboid. The height range of cheap chairs can vary quite a bit, so before you go into the shop make sure you know the height of your grind table so you can test the chairs on tables in the shop and feel certain it's going to do the trick at home. I would bring along a measuring tape and some magazines you can stack on the table to increase its height artificially if need be.

I'd suggest being willing to spend a bit more. For ~200$ you are basically sitting on a rock.

http://store.hermanmiller.com/Products/Aeron-Chair

These have gotten pretty affordable and are, imo, still the freaking nuts. I personally own one, had it for 5 years and it's (pc-wise) still the best thing i've ever bought.

The only negative thing i've ever heard about the aeron is that some people complained about the hard end on the seat cutting off circulation /putting pressure on their legs. Have either of you had that experience?

fwiw i bought a steelcase leap 4 years ago based on reviews of other poker players. For something that cost $800 i expected it to be much more comfortable than it actually is. On the plus side, I've never experienced any back pain since buying it, but i don't like it anywhere near as much as some people seem to. In light of my experience id recommend you sit in a chair before buying it.

I've also heard great things about Herman Miller Embody, but you're looking at $1100 there.

This is pretty tilting, It says on Herman Miller that they won't ship outside US(although I can contact them, is there any point in doing this with getting charged $$$?) all UK sites are looking Ł900 for them($1500).

That was what stopped me from getting one a few years ago. If you find a place in UK that ships at a reasonable price please post it in here.

I don't think short-term comfort is #1 goal for these chairs. I own Embody and for 5 mins sitting on random $200 chair might feel more comfortable, but the difference comes in with hours of sitting every day.

Interesting Kaby, meh I got a Embody too I get a bit of lower back pain and I don't get why everyone raves about it, maybe I havnt adjusted it properly tho.

Can highly recommend a electric adjustable desk and mixing up sitting and standing up during the day is great.

You can sit "wrong" on any chair.

I'm really intrigued by a standing desk too, but I can't imagine it would be comfortable grinding.
