Is it just me or does every friday PokerStars turn their doomswitch button on?

try this, last time i got disconnected in a big pot on ipoker (happens a bunch) i phoned up cust support to complain, they said that they would try an investigate blah blah (sounded from their tone like there was nothing they could do), so i said i wanted to withdraw my BR to the dude on the phone. never heard anything back but next session god mode for next 10K hands and counting (just cursed myself :/ but probs best i have ever run

there`s imo no real good hu-coach who has a thread there and hence it makes absolutely sense to ask who is crushing at Hu in today`s games + coaching in addition at a Hu-thread where you would think chances are high that some ppl have a solid overview on this...

does he also coach private and you know in acccident what he charges?

Hey guys I have been primarily a sng player. Tried to sit a bunch of ppl at nl50 for fun on ftp and they seem to sit out like no tomorrow. A few of them are even very rude and proceed to block my tables whilst insulting me at the same time.

Is this standard for HU cash these days??? Also is this the same for all limits? I would think it must get better from nl200+?

Well if you move high enough there will be someone who will play you But on the lowerlimits most of the guys are bumhunters.

Wait - so they sit your tables that you opensit and then sit out? Wtf is wrong with these people. there should be a policy against such a behavior resulting in a permanent ban. or better - just shut down low/mid level hu cash if regs cant play by the rules and sent them over tu hu sngs where most of the fish traffic has gone anyways.

i get a ton of HU action starting 6max tables, **** HU lobby its a waste of time imo

Dunno if this is the most optimal place to poast but im a 2+2 rook so letse go; I need to send just under €50k to a friend in Canada (I live in scandinavia), the money is in EUR in my bank account and we are wondering what way will avoid fx fees the best? Apparently his bank won't let him set up a €-account so I guess the alternatives are either bank transfer where he converts the money from eur to cad, or a transfer on stars where he still has to convert the money.

Does anyone have any better idea?

Stars will not allow you to deposit and send that sum right away. So better think about other solutions.

I guess I could nsh it up in here to make people understand the situation fully in case someone has experience/a good solution. I got 3rd in EPT London ME a couple of days ago (but 2nd most money on a deal ) and had sold 50% of my action strictly to friends, everyone handily enough living in different countries with diff currencies so now it's a bit of a hell to sort everyone out. Individual tax issues, transfer loss issues and stuff have left us all completely clueless as to what to do. Apparently I could've transferred everything on stars IF I hadn't withdrawn it to begin with, I felt a bit stressed about having such a large sum in my PS account so i snap withdrew it and now I'm not allowed to re-deposit and transfer.


How much do you usually lose doing a standard IBAN-transfer internationally between currencies? Are any E-wallets worth looking in to? Are there any poker sites that allow this sort of traffic? Would really really appreciate if someone knowledgeable took his time to lend a helping hand.
