I have focussed on uni stuff for the past 8 months and haven't played HU at all because of that. But I miss the game and want to add a few sessions to my weekly schedule in the future.

Can anyone tell me what the FTP HU rules are? How many empty tables am I allowed to open per limit? Still one per limit and table type?

yess sur, you can open a **** load at the same limit and game type but it will only look like you are sitting at 1 in the lobby

probably only 1/2 for the beginning (i guess i should add .5/1 then at least). i am pretty rusty and want to get a feeling for the current state of the games first. anyway i wont play high volume and i am not that ambitious in poker anymore. this might change after a few sessions though

So if I create a new database and import when i play regs, then use the old database for when I am playing fish, will the old database import the regs hands also?

you can just look in the vs player report, go through and look at each player, if its a reg note down number of hands + results, tally up and divide - way quicker than ****ing about with separate databases

You could probably create a "regs" DB and then manually swap to import to that DB when you are playing a reg match. However, you will invariably forget to swap or will be playing a fish at the same time and will need to do some manual importing/exporting/deleting of sessions.

Thanks, I usually have 2 days a week where I play just fish and then play only regs the rest of the week, so it shouldn't be that much messing about for me.

in FTP

1) what does the "PLAY NOW" button do exactly? it appears when I sit an empty table
2) how do you receive the rakeback? do u have to do anything special?

1) When someone sits you and posts blind you have to press the "PLAY NOW" button. If you don't you then sit out. If you press the "PLAY NOW" button when nobody is sitting you then you will auto post as soon as someone sits.

Basically the button stops you auto posting and having your blind stolen if your away from cpu. At least I think thats what it is for.

2) Nope. Everyone is entitled to it but at different levels depending on what level of Edge you are at. Diamond (the top level) gets paid out at $2.5 per 100 FTPs and Bronze is $1 I think. Payments are made on Friday every week I think. If your at Diamond level I think it is supposed to equate to 25% RB effectively. If you want to know more about Edge just google it.

I'm tempted to "start a petition" to ipoker about all the multiaccounters who have 3-4 active accounts running at the same time and hog tables, but they probably wouldn't care, what do you guys think? I'm talking about benjaWin, NeedNewBoobs, ferrariBONUS, AbrahamBinkn, suzanne23?, cuniko71?, maybe even myubien59?


A couple of these nicks have more or less confirmed to me in chat that they're the same person, the rest are me trying to connect the dots, and the ones with questionmarks are ones that would make very much sense if they were accounts in a stable. Anyone else got any info about these nicks that strengthen my hypothesis?
