edit: Just saw you were tilted or something when posting this. Nvm I guess.
I think it is absurd and I'll tell you why. I think it's a waste of time to get yourself worked up about something you absolutely can't control, when you're sitting with someone you are powerless to their action (with the current system) and to start bitching in chat wasting energy and time it just not the way I wanna live my life.

Now obviously I can tell that many people in here feel strongly different and don't at all see a problem making the fish suffer by completely changing the rules of the game. Say I was a gambling fish, I wouldn't feel more inclined to go play casino games if the casino started to enforce minimum session lengths. It's just less attractive to everyone and frankly it's not poker.

@The guy saying allowing grimming is only good for the bumhunters: Think again, it's the fish who enjoy the freedom of the game. 52 cards in a deck, money flying and they have the option to chase, slowroll and leave whenever they want.

If the sites could implement something like stratr suggested that'd probably be the best possible solution.

I dont think, its possible to have a crushing winrate over sample at rush. probably max like 6 bb/100

i just played an hour again and its pretty damn dry. most regs arent great but they dont make big mistakes at all. they just grind and play their standard lines

dont think, most nl100 regs have a good green line

I've played about 50k hands of zoom 100 and 200 and my winrate is ~3bb/100. Tiny sample size of course, but I agree with alexuuus. The field isn't overly soft and it's hard to crush. I'm not great at 6max though, so I'm sure 8bb/100 is achievable for crushers. Not zoom 500 though - that player pool is super tough and you have to be sick to even be a winner imo. That all said I still really like zoom because I often only have 2 hours here or there to play and it's so easy and hassle free, and I like that it's a completely non-predatory environment.

@Hawg
Ok, I agree tha it's pointless wasting time blasting off in chat at every reg who grims, but in my eyes it's still a very unethical thing to do and I can't help that it pisses me off. I mean if I sit 20 opponents, 15 of which only play their btn, it does start to have a significant affect on my winrate. Completely agree with you about how fish view this though - they would hate to be forced to play a minimum number of hands.

Thats pretty much the same reason, why I really like it. I dont enjoy playing 3 hours or more anymore, therefore I tend to play sessions between 45minutes and 2hours normally (2hours is actually more rare). it always takes quite a bit of time to get games at hu or normal 6max tables running, so I really like it to sit down at tables at rush / zoom and play as long as i´m in the mood to / I get annoyed / tilted

Depends on the site really, I try to keep on only what I need. Not sure I even have 100 buy ins for the stakes I play online lol. Definitely wouldnt keep more than like 4k online if I was only playing nl100

this is so flawed...

fish playing better regs = less winning nights = less fun = less likely to redeposit

You could argue it both ways though. Some fish like playing the best of the best and challenging themselves. Playing a big name player or a huge online winner could be an incentive for the fish to join a game.

Yea I'm the same way, I've been playing a lot of Zoom lately b/c of school. Most of the regs seem pretty solid taggish though, not much room for mistakes esp 100bb deep. Also I find you can swing really quickly just from the number of KK vs AA situations.

you guys rly should lern plo then and play rush/zoom, nl rush is just such a grind and no fun long-term imo, plo rush pools are still super soft

About FTP 's grimming:

How about giving SB always to the one joining the table? Yeah, it will cause some professional grimmers, but you can mark them up easily and they can write it in the rules that if you are doing it excessively you will get punished.

that's actually a worse idea. the most fair way is what stars or party poker does, flip for button, but the problem is you can simple sit out on your bb. if their intentions were to grim you, they would grim you only half the time

I still feel like its apart of the game in today's climate. it's not against the rules.

Yeah just a few more secs would be good , but it's not a huge issue. I have missed several matches though when my focus has been on something else.
