This was interesting. I played a guy for like 20 hands and exchanged blinds and thought he was a boring nit, so I sat out and left the table. Then he came onto my other 2 tables I had open and table blocked me. He berates me for what seems like an eternity and he even had my other tables open that I was playing versus other opponents and he was discussing them. He then says "bye loser" leaves both tables, then when I sit back in he sits in again and says "hahahaha". He does this 2-3 times I think and now says I'm his buddy. I presume this means I'm going to be table blocked on a regular basis when he is online. Oh joy. What causes people to do this? They really need to get laid imo.

Will Chili Poker do anything about this sort of thing if I report him if it happens again or do they not care?

f my life.plo breaks me.i go back to heads up nl to try and get back.i know the games are rotten but i figured it will just take an extra month or two. so sick. currenty 80 tables of people alone just at 5/10 heads up on full tilt and a grand total of zero games running. i seriously may quit poker. do people just sit there anyway? in three days i get like 5 games and am stuck with 3 big runners. I can't believe that in them 80 tables there is not 1 guy that will give you some action while both of you are waiting for the inevitable.

If you refuse to give action to regs then I'd suggest playing 6 max. [HU poker will never really improve any more than it already has]

This is going to come off dickish but I really don't know how to sugar coat it... if you don't take the time to get money on multiple sites it's really hard to complain. I'm on 3 and am about to add my 4th. The HU games are alive and well if you drop your game selection standards a tad and get on multiple sites. Only reason I don't put up big hands per month is because I only play like 4 hours a day maybe 15-20 days a month, which is really sad.

yah i completely agree with MLJ. HU pokerz is very very far from dead and with $ on multiple sites it is easy to get action at 2-4 to 5-10. That said I probably put about 70% of my hands in against regulars these days.

I think you guys fail to realize that we want to increase the number of people playing HU because we don't game select nearly as tightly as most. I denied Zugwat and TheAshman yesterday at 10/20... before that, I can't remember the last time I denied someone, it was possibly IWinFlips a few weeks ago.

I would think you'd be necessarily increasing both. But it's easy to agree that pure 100% bumhunters are fairly worthless.

meh i think you're really underestimating the % of people that would be bumhunters that would follow your advice. % of regs that play (nearly) everyone is insanely lower than the % of people that bumhunt nowadays. Sighs all around.

I played him the other day because I felt like challenging myself. He definitely makes some plays that I am not used to and early on I had little idea what his range was in some spots. He really likes the check flop, raise my turn lead line a lot.

Played some 6 max today outta boredom. Why is it whenever I ship it all-in preflop with QQ opponent has KK or AA. Lost 4 buyins, back to HU I come.

I've played him before too. -12 BIs later I don't wish to play him anymore =P.

I sat at a 200NL table with a $40 shortstack. (playing mostly HUSNGs right now, but I didn't have enough time for a long game if I happened to get one, so I decided to sit at cash instead, and beating the snot out of shortstacks at cash has always been where I made the most money)

First hand, he shoves. Second hand, I fold my button (J3o, figured he was planning to shove again for a double-grimm), and he sits out.

I saw him sitting at another table, so I sit down, planning to call his shove with anything that's ahead of a random hand.

He shoves, I have like 63o or something, I fold.

My button, I pick up AA, raise to 3x, he shoves, shows A4o, and actually picked up a 2 way straight draw, but bricked out.

Does it get any sweeter than that?



I actually also won a buyin and a half on another table in less than 80 hands before I had to go, which was nice, but not nearly as satisfying as taking down the grimmer.
