I don't think it's "bad" in itself but keep in mind that if you receive an amount in your bank account in Canada over 10k it will be reported to FINTRAC, which is the organization in Canada that keeps an eye on bank transactions for things like fraud, money laundering, etc..

Obv you have nothing to hide but for tax reasons it might be a slightly bad move if you decide to say, not declare any income. I don't know if FINTRAC gives info out to the revenue people... but I know that personally I try to keep all my wires under 10k.

I was being a little sarcastic because I have played a lot of plo in the past and only broke-even (with rake-back). But at the end of the day, poker is poker. Is very possible that most of us good NL players that tried and lost at plo simply ran below EV.

some1 irl suggested that sites should implement an "all-in variance free" option only for hu games meaning that whenever two players are all-in and cards to come, those cards are never dealt and the pot gets splited according to equities.

obv for regs this should be a nice thing since it drastically cuts swings but imo fish wont like this and will never use it.

    what do u think?

For those of you that made the move from 6m to HU - do you find HU to be a lot less swingy?

Not too sure if its just sample size and the swings will kick in but over my first 40k hands it feels a lot more smoother than 6m.

Less swingy normally I'd say. Only because you can game select better at HU and not have to battle with regs and get in so many standard spots where the money will inevitably end up in the middle. But volume at HU is always hard to achieve at 400nl+ level
