Since everyone else is doing it right now and you don't deny action, I agree that it's fine. However, if everyone else was sitting at 1 empty table, you should obviously not sit at 4, if only to keep the others in line.

If you wanna play 2/4 I will 4 table you. Let me know

I guess thats part of my point, but I also think that having only 1 empty table isn't the answer. Haven't there been numerous times when the same ****** sits at 2 of your empty tables and donates? I'm not positive a player like this cares enough to sit at one, ask you if you want to 2 table, then search to find you.

I agree that this is probably how the bumhunting started however there is no way to force the HU nits to play anyone. I think it has just become the nature of the beast and hopefully the player pool can handle it.

if somebody sits at 2 of your empty tables they know how to use the ****ing lobby. they found 2 of your tables through the mess of 75 empty tables I think they can find you at 1, say "let's play 2", you give them next table name.

I've never had some drooler ask me to play more than 1 table, even when all my tables are full. I can remember, multiple times, having an idiot sit at 2 and start playing.

I might be wrong, and am willing to concede to those of you that have experience not sitting at empty tables.

Regardless, my goal is to have 4 tables going. It just seems much more likely that I will achieve this the fastest by having the tables open already.

Their is no point arguing this any further. I do not bumhunt. I do not sit out against anyone, unless we play at least a couple hundred hands and I feel they have a significant edge for whatever reason. I have 4 tables open because that's the amount of action I want. I do not have 4 tables open waiting to play 1 table against the worst player I can find, like most regs.

Yeah I dont see the problem with regs sitting at 4 empty tables per limit(tho I'd like it to be 2) as long as they play regs. Am I the only person who has a competitive nature and actually enjoys scrapping it out with pretty much any regs?

I don't understand this arbitrary cap that is supposed to be placed on these players. How did we arrive at 4? Why is 4 ok, and 5 is too much? Why is 3 too little?

The only actually reasonable answer is to make the limit 1 table, as it is not difficult or time consuming to open another table once you get action. No one is going to be getting so much action that only having 1 table open at a time is going to affect them and everyone knows it. So basically what this comes down to is an unwillingness to sacrifice what is nothing more than a very small convenience in exchange for what most believe to be the betterment of the game. (I don't really understand the argument that this is not the case. It is obvious that people are only opening 16 tables or whatever to "extend the net" so to speak, so that they may gain some advantage, to the detriment of everyone else.)

Unfortunately, none of these policies are enforceable by us. It can only be enforced by the site. All the aggression and dick waving in this thread is meaningless and won't achieve anything. Organizing and letting your concerns be known as a whole to FTP/Stars/whatever is the only productive option you have.

I know this probably wouldnt work, but Id love for one site to create HU cash tables where the players are assigned randomly to a partner (ie. enter a waitlist and get matched bla bla) and a minimum amount of hands are required before either player can quit, unless they lose their buy in.

-Obviously this removes the table select edge many enjoy, but it could be pretty fun...
