Almost didn't play this breakeven'ish scandi reg at 600NL because I'm not feeling well today. Luckily I caved in and played because he kept asking, he turned out to be wasted and dropped 3k in 105 hands. Ship it!

This dragons cat is an interesting dude. Someone said they were playing him last night so I searched him and he was single-tabling $33 hu sngs. His sharkscope for sngs is actually quite sick, up ~25k in ~1400 games.

Game selects well, just opened up his tables and he's at a 1000NL 6max right now with 3 people chatting the most fishy chat ever, I don't need PTR to know a table where people are saying "ladies ladies. let's act our age, not our shoe size" is sick as hell.

Dragonz is def weird, he raped me a while ago before I figured out he had some actual gameplan to what he does and then i stopped to looks at his PTR and decided to live to fight another day... very tilting to play vs him

Barewire is definitely correct here, EC10 is definitely not somebody who'd fit the criteria of that staking deal. I'm not going to link his FTP PTR, but i'm guessing it looks several times better than you seem to think.

A lot of 2006-2008 mid/highstakes regs aren't beating lower midstakes these days... Where do you think all the regfishes got their money if not from games several years ago? I don't know EC and I don't mean to diss him or anything, just wanted to point it out that if you want to play weak regs, you shouldn't be scared if you know they have played higher stakes several years ago. Yes, probably most of them have improved since and it's unlikely that someone who played 10/20 back then wouldn't beat 2/4 nowadays, but it doesn't sound impossible to me.

I have a friend playing 6max who had way better winrate at 2/4 back in PartyPoker days than he has at 1/2 today, and what I've heard from people (started late 2008 myself) beating 10/20 back then doesn't mean you necessarily beat 2/4 games today.

He had to step back to 100nl a while ago and it seems he doesn´t really find his game at all.

I've heard from some reasonable sources that EC10 is really a pretty big fish by today's reg standards. DOGISHEAD was actively encouraging me to play him, and that was two years ago so it's likely he's gotten worse.
