Ok what does everyone do in this situation? A good reg sits at my table, he's definitely significantly better than me, and I don't want to play him. I sit out, say "no thanks", but he doesn't leave. I leave the table and go to a new one, he sits again. I do this 2 more times but he still won't leave. If I open another table while he's at the first one, he sits there. Email support because he's table blocking me?

Yeah i also have a situation that i'd be happy taking some advice on.

Basically i'm sat at a table and a reg joins who i don't want to play but i've already posted the sb (possibly daydreaming). I hate people who grim etc, so my usual line is almost irrespective of what hand i'm dealt i'll just fold, sit out say thanks but no thanks and let the reg keep the sb (more or less as penance for me not being willing to play them).... However i think a reg has realised that i do this and repeatedly tries to sit with me knowing full well that i do not want to play him but that he knows i'm not going to grim and infact will likely give up a sb.

I do not want to start grimming him, nor do i really want to just play two hands (since i think infairness it's still kinda douchey of me when i know i'm only going to play 2 hands and he doesn't)

Any thoughts?

Let him know in chat you don't want to play him and quit after 2 hands, then play your SB the way like you normally would?

if they are being scummy, be scummy back. just play your SB

anyway, your strat after posting your SB by accident is bad. just play your SB, then let him play a BB, then you are even.

like i said, i've told him many times that i do not wish to play him, yet he keeps sitting for my sb thinking i'll just do my usual give it up etc. You're probably all right though, I do realise my strat for just giving up the sb is bad but tbh i just never liked the idea of playing 2 hands when the other player doesn't know i'm going to do this. But yeah, maybe the best option is just to play the two hands then sit out.

cheers guys, thanks for the responses.

Which site do you play? What rake cap? I've been always thinking playing HU cash is not worth it below 50NL.

Every single time someone says this I make the same comparison...

The actual rake paid (after reducing rakeback/bonuses) is less bb/100 playing NL20 with 60% rakeback than NL50 with FTP's 27% rakeback. Same thing applies to NL50, euro sites have $1 rakecap but you get so much better deals you're actually paying less rake.

I started from NL50 myself and moved to NL100 after ~20k hands, but I have no doubt that NL20 HU is both beatable and worth playing. If you are rolled for NL20 and you know you want to be playing HU cash, I think it's much better to play NL20 HU than start with HUSNGs.
