to get better, and because it is fun and exciting to play good aggro players. plus the days of bumhunting are quickly coming to an end, so its either get better (to the point where u can make money off of regs) or stop making good money.

the ratio of bums to good players is shrinking. you can still bumhunt but its becoming harder and harder to play alot of volume against strictly bums and i think it will get worse not better (barring the possibility of an asian poker boom or legalization within the US)

Jeffmet3: Have not seen him play as much as gopher tbh. Can't really speak too much on his game. All I know is that he plays a lot.

Gopheresque: I've only watched him a few times, I mainly like to watch regs to see their style, and what works. But he's a good solid player. Doesn't tilt from what i've watched. And plays the gambit of players - bums/regs. Not sure what your game selection is like, but you can find a better game imo.

Well, I'm trying to work my way up from bumhunting, because I'm obviously going to need to be able to play better players as I move past 2/4. But I don't really want to play the guys that tableratings shows with 8-10bb/100 winrates over significant numbers of hands, either.

Thanks for the scouting report. Sounds like I'd better just avoid gopheresque.

I hadn't actually considered railing regs to check em out though. How obvious is that? lol
