I've only posted it in one other thread beside this one and I hadn't posted it here in a while.

This wasn't a silly mistake. This was a thief, planning a theft, that would qualify as grand theft everywhere. He was never sorry about it. He never confessed. He got caught and a few months later, everyone wants to forget about it because he has become a decent HU player? No, that's not right. He's no different than AP stealing from their customers. Forget about it and they just do it again.

nobody wants to forget about it, and half the things you say are grand assumptions that you intend to continue stating as fact. everyone deserves to know, yes, but don't make it out as more than it was. let's not forget that he correctly lost the bet and was banned from stars as punishment, losing high five figures in equity above what he stood to gain if successful as a result. he's getting the equivalent of infinity years probation by the internet police on this forum. anyways, i'm done defending the position, i think anyone who actually pays attention understands the situation properly and i don't want to come off as some delusional friend who's trying to right wrongs.

That's not really true that you haven't posted that in awhile. I'm pretty sure I read something in the past week.

edit: not that its not understandable or that you're in the wrong necessarily, just that you definitely do get a touch spammy/trolly with it. which again, is understandable.

Well, yeah, sure, in the last week. But before that, it was nearly a month.

Having someone look over your hands is a good idea, but I wouldn't sweat it toooo much, sick streaks like this happen, they just feel so unreal WHILE they're happening. If you were really playing so bad that you SHOULD have lost this money, you would know already, you know? Like you'd have to playing INSANE bad for this not to just be variance. Sucks though for sure, worst part for me is always being like "am I just horrible?".

The attempt at a justification is pointing out how young someone is. That is ridiculous. I don't care if someone is 78 or 19. It isn't like they were 6.

18 is certainly old enough to know not to cheat a whole community.
I dunno I guess everyone develops differently, maybe you were a mature responsible 18 year old but I know I wasn't. I was out of control irresponsible and selfish, thats why I sympathize a bit for gary. Maybe he will turn out to be a full blown scumbag for the rest of his life but that shouldn't be determined already by some dumb scam he tried to pull at the age of 19 imo.
