How to evaluate a session? How to evaluate a session?

I've noticed over a small sample that I'm beating 25nl for a good winrate, and losing at 50nl. The first buyin or two at 50nl was your standard hand, but I think I'm bleeding money in a lot of spots where I know I should play better and it's adding up. This is before I find myself deep in a hole, I'd like to find this out before things get worse.

Instead of saying that I'm running bad, or that variance will work out eventually I'd like to actually analyze a session properly. I have HEM, but I do not know the most effective way to evaluate if I'm playing poorly, missed value, overplayed a hand, etc. I mainly just use HEM to look at my graphs, see my winrate, and use it at the tables.

Any pointers, links, etc. is greatly appreciated.

Deff uses there search feature to search how to. But basically I just go over biggest winning and losing hands or any hands I thought were interesting. Also look at my stats on how I played vpip pfr ect...

Search around the forum, I know there's topics on it.
