im not saying im right just curious why you think calling so good

OOPS EDIT i didnt see sizing pre... i hate 4b now ewwww

but if he made standard sized 3b do you change

he has JJ 0% of time
Can you please explain your reasoning to why he can't have JJ here?

Highly unlikely he chooses to 3bet JJ here vs you 200bb deep. Same for 77. He can't have AA. AJ sure I don't know how often he 3bets. Flushes? I mean it's tough given he can't have Axss or Kxss and the Jx blocks a lot of SC do does he 3bet T9s?98s? Q4s?

If he even has AJ does he try and get tricky with the FD out? for the most part people get too scared and decide to "protect" their hand. Seems like a lol line if he has AK/AQ/Axs but who knows.

My thought that he doesn't have JJ is that he would not have checked flop. Board is too draw heavy and that deep, he could end up stacking off with a set because he didn't bet flop and flush came in. It is possible that he has JJ but I would consider it about equal to him bluffing in percentage terms.

It's a pretty bad fold tbh. Even if he has a flush your redraw equity at 38%

I don't see why everyone seems to think he either always or never has JJ here. Sure JJ is a part of his range, as is A10+ he can have plenty of JTs and T9s here too.

Call and re-eval river. Ofc it's gonna be a tough spot OTR OOP but folding the top of your range to a small turn raise when you are this deep is just lolbad.

I can see now it was a poor fold, this was my first day of 50nl and I was scared as I was 200bb deep and didn't trust myself to fold the river

If I played this hand today (after 7k hands of 50nl I would have played it differently)

Grunch: To me, this reeks iffyness - I can't see this being JJ, unless you're opening super wide and/or never fold to a 3bet. What comes after I think can only be judged on those two factors - If you haven't been folding to 3bets (and if its only over 60, you may have given off ****** stats through a hot run of cards) then I think its a good fold. Otherwise, it seems like villain may have got you to fold a splitting/better hand.

In other words, if you've looked bad, this is good; if you've looked good, this is bad.

I am suspecting that was a bluff more than anything else. Probably with a smaller pair. Perhaps he has AJ or JJ. But I doubt it. Though he may have had 77. I am probably going to put my money in. But I am not folding to AQ or KK. With Trips and top kicker I am just not going to lay down unless it is the tightest damn rock who would only bet with the nuts.

I wish people would bluff me. No matter how much i listen to the advices on here and talk myself in to stacking off because he can have draws and bluffs and what not, im still yet to see it.

Tobe4funas is his screen name. Looks like he's moved on from 25NL which is where I last played him. Plays LAG as I recall. Gets grumpy a lot.
