My thinking would be because A9 beats some bluffs like J9/K9?

From what I've learned from here regarding solvers it always prefers to play the very high equity draws more passively so I just keep that in mind with straight flush draws, combo draws, and overcard flush draws. The solver almost never likes to jam those hands it seems like

Thats what I thought. You are blocking the best draws so you just fold out worse draws and get called by strong made hands.

The fact that people overfold to squeezes and he called a large flop bet just makes his range incredibly strong. No way I have close to the amount of FE needed.

I didnt have the strength to fold it. I had exact same situation before and i knew he couldnt possibly have any other hand but called anyway and of course he did have it

Im coming to a realization lately. I give my opponents way too much credit for having bluffs that they just never have the majority of the time. Most of population is just nowhere near the proper number of bluffs and a lot of calls are punts as you say.

Thats awesome. Im hoping my runbad is over. I took like 3 mos off after like 3 mos of my worst runbad in 20yrs of poker and came back and immediately ran bad for several sessions but then last night i played for 3.5hrs and made 9.5 buyins.

Imagine getting it in with a set against THREE flush draws...turning a boat...and still losing the hand.
