Yeah I figured this was close to a 0ev bluffcatcher but thought this particular character might be getting a bit creative with their overbets (as we can see, they were). Would've folded against most other people

It's standard to be excited to get stacks in with this particular hand, but x/jam probably isn't optimal. Looking at the solver outputs, it pure bets with this combo, and I'm mostly supposed to be doing a non-jam x/r sizing (close to a min-raise) vs. a small bet. Thinks EVs are basically identical between many different flop options (including x). Vs. this sizing, jamming has a higher EV than anything besides calling, but the EV difference between jamming calling is fairly large. Guess I should've realized I don't really want the Ah

But solver outputs change a lot depending on inputs. Solver thinks BTN has nearly 0 AK, which isn't close to true in reality. Range betting probably becomes much less attractive if that's the case (I was mostly hoping to stack AK or AJ/AT). If you give BTN a lot of AK, this line probably becomes more defensible.

I had a crazy bad beat over the last weekend. I flopped quads in a 3BP with 88 on a 882 board and the guy shoved flopped into me for 120bb with JJ and caught runner runner jacks for the win. It was absolutely sickening. The odds of that happening have to be atmospheric.

Lmao those have to be some of the most tilting hands for me when fish vastly overplay their hand but somehow you have the 2nd best hand and call off quite happily only to see that you are essentially drawing dead. My fist clenched up just thinking about it.

Wow, that is surprising that's all it is, but its good to know I'm not extraordinarily unlucky. Not too long maybe 3 weeks ago, I had a royal flush each day for 3 consecutive days. I'm sure the odds of that must be incredible considering I don't even play a huge volume. Runbad ended yesterday so no more getting quads busted.

Sickening. 2 nights ago on bovada on 50NL a fish open shoved 120bb preflop. Button calls w 100bb stack and I wake up w AA in BB. Mr. Open shove takes the pot with 7-3 suited for the flush. Btn had QQ
