I’m always listening to music no matter what I do and poker is no exception. I’m always curious as to what music people like to listen to while they play and why they choose it.

While I'm playing, mainly video game/movie soundtracks and EDM.

EDM is odd, because I never listen to it outside of playing poker.

Interesting, it may be because EDM doesn't pull your attention away from the game. As a musician I can't listen to anything that will pull my brain away from playing poker, so I listen to new age mostly. I do listen to it outside of poker as well here and there, but not that much.

Stuff with lyrics and classical is hard for me to listen to while playing.

I've had a wide mix lately. Edm, dubstep, classic rock, lofi beats, aphex twin type of stuff,, this genre called phonk but lately I've been heavy on old school and underground hip hop like late 90s-mid 00s era.

The same **** I always listen to on my eclectic pandora station. Alternative Rock (mostly from 90s & 2000s), Hip-Hop from all eras, and some classic rock like Zeppelin, Hendrix, and The Stones.

I'm a drummer. Back when I played professionally I played in groups across a bunch of styles and genres, also play piano and guitar but just for fun. Got a degree in music ed so taught a lot of lessons over the years too.
