nice play but it kind of begs why you'd call pre if you're still folding a K flop

He’s getting a stupid good price to play IP pre.
This is a common mistake at lower stakes and we call super wide against this sizing pre.

not gonna see a pot-sized bet that often on a K flopp

yeah it's just the psb don't think we see enough bluffs vs that sizing.

if he bets smaller like 3/4 or less, then yeah it's a trivial call on the flop.

For sure I should call that flop after looking into more, but it's not nice to make a white magic read once in a while.

I will say even though in theory we should call down on safe runouts, I'm not sure it's good in practice. Bobby/John, what do you guys think?

If turn isn't a spade or a 9 I might fold turn. With my luck turn is a K and I get stacked.

What were your reasons for the turn check?

Depends. I would probably fold to a triple barrel shove

SPR is like 0.5, not really scared of any rivers and think I might get stuff like AK or a worse overpair to shove that might not call a shove

Pretty sick day on the slots, kept getting free spins.

Seeing what it's like (only playing 3-4 orbits) at a 500nl table.

Sandwiched between 2 guys with < 60bb stacks.
