[MICRO] Former PLO pro wants to learn how to crush micro NL.

After a few years of break from playing PLO (I ended my career when solvers came out) I would like to come back as a semi-pro NLH. My goal is to become a winning player at the NL50 online and in the NL200-500 live games. As I've been playing pure exploit all my career, I'd like to try a different approach - almost pure GTO. And now I have a question for my colleagues who beat these stakes. I know that by not exploiting players, I leave a lot of money on the table, but are we still able to generate winnings by playing approximated GTO style on micro stakes? What are your experiences? Is the rake too high maybe?

For heads up, definitely just playing GTO will make you money. I assume you mean for 6 max or full ring though, so maybe, if you study enough to play very well.
But exploiting is the way to go, if you can see someone’s 3bet stat is low, why play against the solver 3bet range and not their actual tighter one. Or if you know a spot is impossible to over bluff and very likely underbluffed but call an indifferent bluff catcher anyway because a solver does

No idea why you wouldn’t just play exploitatively at these stakes.
