Hi guys, this is my first time posting a hand, as i just joined this site a few days ago. This villian was a calling station and had no idea what he was doing here. His stats were something like 60%/2/.5 he was a calling station, and rarely ever raised pre. This is the hand:

Full Tilt Poker, $0.10/$0.25 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

SB: $26.95
BB: $29.05
UTG: $52.60
Hero (CO): $23.55
BTN: $35.20

Pre-Flop: Q Q dealt to Hero (CO)
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.85, 2 folds, BB raises to $29.05 and is All-In, Hero folds

Results: $1.80 Pot ($0 Rake)
BB mucked and WON $1.80 (+$0.95 NET)

Hope i did that right.

Given that he's not shortstacked, I fold this. If he has under 50bb though, I'm probably calling.

How many hands did you have on him at the time?

I had a similar situation where I raised preflop, some 50/2 guy min 3-bet me, I called, and then he open shoved a 932 flop. I had JJ and was okay folding, because he was letting me take his stack all the time in other hands when I knew i had his range crushed.

[x]snap call

if you have emotional stability problems, dont look at the screen when you call and then look at the screen after 30 seconds and see whether you have to reload or play the next hand. and continue like it never happened.

I mean this is a snapcall if villain had just lost a big pot and is prob tilting, but unless this is some massive misclick, what is a 60/2 suddenly 3-bet shoving 100bb preflop with? Give me some range we are +ev against?!

call. it's not like you weren't hoping to get all the money in pre flop anyway. he just took a few steps out of the process.

Not sure about 25 or so hands, and in all of the hands he seemed loose and passive ... this bet just came out of nowhere ... i wanted to call but couldn't stand losing to this donk. He wasn't afraid of calling a pot sized bet on the flop with mid pair no kicker.

Wow okay, if it's just 25 hands, I think I call lol.

That could be it lol, he probably misclicked ... i have no idea, and the more i think about it the more i regret my fold.

In that case, snapcall. 25 hands may just as well be an unknown. Why can't you stand losing to someone? Seems kind of irrelevant who you lose money to, to me.

That isn't the reason i didn't call, idk i guess i'd rather not give my money to anyone that makes this kind of play.

Do you think he was trying to use his table image here? That's what was going through my mind at the time, but i don't know if he is capable of that.

Well, to be fair, even after only 25 hands, the fact that he has already played 60% of his hands while only raising 2% suggests he is a fish....

And I'm not sure how smart a fish would be at trying to take advantage of his table image....

Again, why not? I've made tons of calls with QQ in similar situations. Some times I lose, but the vast majority of the hands I win against hands like J4, K7, the occasional AK, etc. Your decisions shouldn't be affected by what you want or what you don't want, but rather what would be profitable and what would not be profitable given your personal experience from similar situations.

If he happens to have AA or KK here, c'est la vie, but he's the exception rather than the rule. Take a note and move on.
