Well that sucks. This is probably an underbluffed line so I think folding is probably best. Hard to imagine a value shove from a hand like 87cc. With that said I think this is a terrible play by V.

Edit: just noticed he OB flop. His whole line makes me think he's a fish from now on. Still think we have to fold.

I think it's usually best to fold to these best the first time you see them. It sort of sucks when you realize 10 hands later they are an absolute maniac and you should consider calling top pair, but more often than not this is just a monster looking to try and get stacks.

I think as others have said, villain has done you a big favour. You're pretty likely to be beat (my guess is that most maniacs going for a bluff would've bet turn), and they've just given you a price you can't reasonably call with and you have a flush. You'll hardly ever have a fh or quads, and a lot of your potential flushes will have 3bet pre. You really can't call that bet with many hands at all.

looks like everyone is advocating for a fold and the jam certainly looks scary

what hands do you guys think hes doing this with for value? is he really jamming the nut flush here? i dont think he should be checking a set that often ott since theres a lot of value in betting since i still have many many one pair hands with a club and also the field has a tendency to just bet their strong holdings imo while not valueraising thin enough

Looks like he has KK or JJ that was scared of you having a flush on the turn but is no longer scared since he boated up on the river.

Fold and thank button for making your decision easy.

BU can probably do this with nut flush since it’s basically impossible for us to have a boat (I guess two K3s combos)

I ended up calling here and he showed aces with the Ac which definitely gave me a good chuckle, not sure why he wouldnt just snapcall, tilt possibly?

maybe im leveling myself but I think he very rarely has a boat otr and also he snap jammed pretty much, wouldnt he atleast think of the best sizing if he actually had the nut flush or a boat? yeah its dangerous and a bit stupid to use timing tells but my gut feeling was that he doesnt have it and also its very easy to overbluff here with just the Ac blocker imo

i looked at this hand with gtowizard but i already forgot the analysis lol, i think he was meant to have a jamming range otr and i was supposed to call with this hand some of the time

edit: oh yeah i was supposed to mainly use ob sizing otr

scary nl25 villain, turning aa into bluff is not usual play, OTOH if he is that good, why he make so big raise when you are so capped

Maybe because he's capped? I don't think villain played this hand well (flop is too big and river seems like an obvious call vs. this size) but river sizing is probably one thing done right. If villain has NF or full house jam seems to me to be clearly the best sizing. You're almost never getting that stack with a smaller raise because BB has hardly any river 3-bets.

it's kind of a hand i snap fold and make note he attack capped ranges too aggressively, but herocalling this without strong read seems like a spew, but even on nl25 you find regs who herocall this, becouse they know you are aggressive and overbluff, I was hero called in similar spots by bad bluffcatchers, just becouse i had 5k hands history with villain
