Are we supposed to be just folding top pair to this pot bet on the flop?
I figured there are many draws he can be betting or just bluffing all together.

On the turn how often does the Ace fit into his flop potting range? maybe he has
A7,A5,A4.. but the turn also brings a diamond FD for even more potential draws in his range. River is a King but I am again wondering how often these high cards are in his flop betting range, of course he could have flopped a set or two pair and be value heavy but I am getting pushed around sometimes at these stakes and find myself over-folding, I will post some more hands where I folded AA to someone. I am aware against a flop pot sized bet I don't need to continue all that often, could very well be bad playing here. I am trying to focus on my opponents range a ton lately

This is a bit of a weird hand because it is a limped pot. You can/should be just leading out on the flop for a combination of value/protection and is the node you should change and focus on playing different in the future. Turn fine as played and river I think is closer to a fold than a call, although the sizing is very small.

Lead the flop. Also, pretty difficult to range a passive fish that limped the button at 2nl. Try to focus on ranging more competent opponents/ "standard" spots. You're kind of playing a guessing game vs. this type of individual + sample size and more or less should just focus on your own hand.

thank you guys for the replies. I see what your saying about the guessing game, it truly feels like one. I didn't think about leading flop I guess I could have done that, probrably would give more clean info if he raises flop?

yeah I would probably just bet/fold flop. x/call flop is fine too. agree with brokenstars that river is probably just a fold
