Perhaps it's worth playing poker for $8 an hour but not worth it for $4

There is a big world out there to explore.
Poker is a fun hobby for me. The though of playing 100 hours a month is mortifying.
I play when I feel good, I stop or don't play at all if I don't feel so good.
Perhaps a little outrospection could benefit us all.

Well there's the difference. I don't see myself putting 100 hours a month into a hobby either, but if you were playing for a living I can't see how you'd choose less money for less hours of more money for more hours.

With that being said, this world is crap so who would want to explore all that garbage anyways.

More hours + lower w/r = more swings = more stressful. So it can definitely make sense to play a bit less for a bit less $$$

It's a very valid point you make about people playing for a living. Of course that's a different scenario. People who pay their bills from poker have my upmost respect.

I disagree with your last sentence, the world is brilliant.

Played awful, ran bad and tilted for the first time in a while.
All in all a pretty rubbish start to the month.
Compelled to keep playing volume to clear this bonus.
Recipe for disaster.

yeah man, 10,595 hands in 4 days is a tough grind for sure. I'd recommend taking a day off tomorrow to recharge the batteries.

Makes sense, I need 2079 fpps in 9 days to clear my ULTIMATE bonus.
Any idea of a rough guess as to how many hands that is it $25 Zoom? I need to plan this next few days.

I get a bit over 100 fpps per 1000 hands playing around 17/13 at 25NL reg tables.

Thanks for the input.
Not quite as many hands required as I would have imagined
