Hi. Sorry if posting 2 hands is against the rule or frowned upon.

These 2 hands are against passive fish (unknown if they're loose or tight passive type).

Hand #1
PokerStars - $0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BB: 105.5 BB
UTG: 139.8 BB
MP: 124.9 BB
Hero (CO): 100 BB
BTN: 126.4 BB
SB: 100.3 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has A A

fold, MP calls 1 BB, Hero raises to 3.5 BB, fold, fold, fold, MP calls 2.5 BB

Flop: (8.5 BB, 2 players) 6 9 5
MP bets 4.1 BB, Hero calls 4.1 BB

Turn: (16.7 BB, 2 players) 9
MP bets 8 BB, Hero calls 8 BB

River: (32.7 BB, 2 players) 4
MP bets 27.6 BB, fold

Spoiler:
MP wins 31.2 BB

I plan to call down on brick rivers. But when flush completes and villain sizes up, I'm not sure anymore even if I have the nutflush blocker. I would've called if he kept using halfpot.

Hand #2
PokerStars - $0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

MP: 99.1 BB
Hero (CO): 100 BB
BTN: 113 BB
SB: 100 BB
BB: 108.3 BB
UTG: 100 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has Q J

fold, MP calls 1 BB, Hero raises to 3.5 BB, fold, fold, fold, MP calls 2.5 BB

Flop: (8.5 BB, 2 players) 6 K Q
MP checks, Hero bets 2 BB, MP calls 2 BB

Turn: (12.5 BB, 2 players) 3
MP bets 8.5 BB, Hero calls 8.5 BB

River: (29.5 BB, 2 players) 6
MP bets 12.9 BB, fold

Spoiler:
MP wins 28.2 BB

I find this one tough too since I only have 2nd pair, but villain only bets halfpot so makes me want to call more.

I hope you guys can help me how to think about these spots since I believe playing well against fish will greatly improve my winrate.

The first hand I would raise flop vs half pot sizing as it is indicative of weak pair, pair+draw, and draw hands. As played river fold is good.

Second hand i would call river vs this small sizing. I expect villain to have a lot of bricked draws and fish typically bluff w that small sizing. Occasionally we run into weak Kx but i expect to win often enough that we profit pretty well.

I think that for the first hand when he bets 4 it could be with his whole range I don't agree its weak. You could raise but you'd have to know what to do if he raises again because he could be tempted to do so with pair plus draw. Any how I probably still raise him since I have Aces and don't mind flipping on this board plus you beat overpairs.
I think call call fold here is a bit too nitty at low stakes. But given you got here like this, fold river is ok because of the size up. But I will reiterate I don't like getting to the river this way with this hand.

I fold the turn in the second hand, I expect to see like KT.
