Played this one some time ago and it still haunts me. Honestly not sure how to play these this deep post flop, much more comfy 100 bb eff which I've spent a lot of time studying. Villain is a super nit pre and I'm almost certain I can rule out all but 1 77 combo and perhaps 1 or 2 55's and at most 1 A9s. 16 combos of AK and AQ, maybe 2 AJs and ATs (assuming he isn't 4-betting any of those this deep IP) are still there by the river, which I thought I would put in a very shitty situation by ripping it. I think I maybe should've gone bigger OTF so I can just pot it OTT to get to this point OTR. I was almost certain this guy will only check back most of those. I've been thinking whether a block bet call on OTR would have been better than what I ended up doing. Am I value owning myself? I DFAF if I lose after their call, I'm just thinking of the highest EV approach and not sure about it.

Edit: both flop and turn villain snap called, which I didn't think would have made sense with a set. OTT they should probably at least consider raising given the possible draws.

Well, try not to GAI w/ only 2 pair when you're over 200bbs unless it's a 4-bet pot or more. That's just a general rule. When you get over 200bbs deep, holdem starts to transform into Omaha. You want big hands, and you want to play hands that make big hands. As played, since you nailed the flop, it would make sense w/ 100bb stacks to overbet turn (not sure what your main two sizings are here, but I assume 1/2 and over bet), but this deep something closer to 1/2 would be better, and same on river.

River is getting thin on most zoom tables, you are targeting A5ss and A2ss specifically unless vil is a whale

I rathole way before this deep as no one is really going to know for sure what to do

Yeah I usually do as well when deeper than 250, also don't want the other players to see my HUD stats over more than 400 hands.

The river is perhaps a little thin but I don't mind risking big stacks if I can gain an extra blind of EV with that. I've witnessed many nitty preflop players go completely opposite postflop, which is ofc partially justified given their stronger ranges. Was the case in this hand as well and we won after they snapped with their AK.

Yeah I mean I like to think that if I'm not value owning myself pretty often, then I'm probably not value betting enough.
