V is 27 / 24 / 21 over 70 hands.

I wasn't sure if this is a call or fold pre against this small sizing. Looking back I think I misplayed every street but the river.

Should I change my range significantly against this small 3 bet sizing or should I stick to pretty much the same calling range I would against a normal 12bb raise?

I would mostly call preflop, as the price is very good to play in position a bit deep, even though our hand is not great. It seems natural that our calling range increases when the 3bet size decreases, even though I have to admit I don't know about 8BB & JTo specifically. Can't be too awful I think.

On the flop against such a big size we don't do much raising I imagine, unless we have a very very good draw or a monster. The call looks okay to me.

Turn card is better for them than for us, we have pretty good pot odds + implied odds, I think it's fine again.

What is you reasoning for this size on the river? You think they don't fold an A or a Q anyway, so you target their K high and pocket pairs?

He’s still got nearly 100BB back otr so can be pot controlling a fairly strong combo on that river card

But we have J high no diamonds so I think the river size kinda makes sense, would maybe go slightly bigger. That said we’re blocking some folding range… lol. Tough spot
